The Hamburg based consulting company Ampower was founded in 2017 and specializes in industrial Additive Manufacturing. It offers identification of products suitable for AM and qualification of personnel and infrastructure. Ampower strives towards developing valuable business cases for its customers. The training program focuses on qualifying personnel along the whole value chain from R&D, design, production and quality assurance to procurement as well as management. The Ampower qualification procedure for machine technology provides robust manufacturing processes and ensures that the production line excels at all certification requirements. The Ampower founders have a strong industrial background in Additive Manufacturing with a combined experience of over 20 years.

C.F.K. is one of the leading centres for high-precision EDM ( wire cutting, die sinking and hole drilling) and professional partner for additive manufacturing in metals.

In the field of electronic discharge machining we have more than 30 years of experience. The extensive experience in 3D printing is based on selective laser melting, which has been co-developed by the managing director Dr.-Ing. Christoph Over at the Fraunhofer Institute and is being in use for 15 years now. We cooperate in research & development with RWTH Aachen and the Fraunhofer Institutes for Laser Technology and production techniques  in order to continuously develop the newest technology.

Selective laser melting allows the manufacturing of complex components, which cannot be produced with conventional methods, such as milling or drilling. Design possibilities become available in geometry and design, which could not be accomplished until additive manufacturing arrived, for example, contour close channels inside of parts or load absorbing inner structures.

Basic cases are: prototypes, implants ( medical), small series and lightweight design.

phoenix GmbH & Co. KG is a company for engineering services specialized in innovation and product development using 3D printing technologies. In addition to classical CAD, we intensively use 3D scanning technologies, which we also distribute with the associated software. Furthermore we develop so-called ‘digital process chains’. By this we mean automated workflows which lead from generating 3D data through 3D scanning or parametric design directly to manufacturing control in production. This combination is very suitable for body-fitted products in high-performance sports and orthopedic devices (customizing). Our innovation process is based on the user-oriented product requirements, which we generate with the help of the design thinking approach and in cooperation with our customers.

Instead of semiconductor makers that just want to sell chips, TRINAMIC Motion Control began with engineers who wanted to design better drives. Its founders knew that designing motion control technology in hardware, not software, was essential for efficient, reliable, smooth, and quiet motors.

Headquartered in Hamburg, Germany with subsidiaries in Tallinn, Estonia, and Chicago, IL, USA, the fabless semiconductor company's motion control architecture divides power electronics into three building blocks: a microcontroller for digital processing, a driver that translates digital signals into electrical power, and a gate driver plus power switches. This simplifies development and makes it easier to design components best suited for each block. In 2015, Trinamic became the first supplier worldwide with an EtherCAT-compliant slave-controller IC for integrating complex, real-time, latency-free I/O peripherals.
With over 20 years of application experience in embedded motion control, Trinamic develops and sells ICs, modules, and integrated mechatronics to market-leading manufacturers worldwide.

The high-technology company Trumpf is technological and market leader in machine tools and industrial laser.
